Claire Olson – Program and Organizational Support Specialist
Claire Olson is the Program and Organizational Specialist at Equity Alliance MN. Her role consists of office managerial tasks, grant writing, and program support. Claire also served as an intern for EAMN during the summer and fall of 2021, helping develop processes to improve efficiency.
Claire was born in Upstate New York, attended elementary school in New York, middle school in Pennsylvania, high school in Virginia, and college in Minnesota, having experienced a wide array of public, private, international, and independent school environments. She now resides in the Twin Cities with her bunny, Mabel.
Claire graduated in December 2021 from the College of Saint Benedict with a B.A. in Education Studies and Political Science. During her college years, Claire was an avid supporter of students in the St. Cloud community. She worked as a first grade classroom assistant in District 742 public schools, delivered meals as an AmeriCorps volunteer with YES Network, and coordinated free, virtual tutoring and advising services with Around Cloud Tutors. Claire is passionate about community organizing and improvement and enjoys volunteering with local political campaigns. She has organized outreach and community building initiatives. Claire is a life-long learner dedicated to improving the lives of others.
In her free time, Claire enjoys exploring the outdoors, supporting local small businesses, and spending time with friends and families.
